In ReligionToday.com’s “Evangelical Leaders Back Universal Background Checks for Gun Buyers“:
Rev. Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan’s Purse, and Dr. Richard Land from the Southern Baptist Convention told TIME Magazine they supported the proposal.
Their favoring universal (central, national) background checks for gun purchases is a classic example of those who should be patriots compromising themselves (and the rest of us!) to the enemy’s controlled, Marxian dialectic process, by “synthesis” with them, after their “antithesis” is advanced by their vanguard.
This is not a power and control that Americans and our states can afford to give up to national government. Both our founders’ Federalists and Anti-Federalists would strongly object (excerpt for a very few perhaps, such as the plutocratic Alexander Hamilton).
Any regulation of firearm ownership was meant to take place where militias were to be regulated, in local and state governance. Otherwise, it is centralized control of our production and distribution of firearms, which is what communist and fascist nations do by definition. (And along the way, national regulation leads to forced disarming of the people, for the sake of totalitarian control.)
The framers made it clear that our Second Amendment is there for the self protection of our Sovereign People from potential governmental despotism and a return to authoritarianism. Universal background checks are a long step to exactly that despotism and that is why the Marxofascist complex wants it.
Text of the Second Amendment:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
We love Franklin Graham and Richard Land but they are wrong on this one! Christians, please inform your clergymen and other leaders.
Let us remember the words of Thomas Jefferson: “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." And the Founders knew of what they spoke… they had just risked their lives and spilled blood to escape tyranny and knew Americans would need the second amendment and its guarantees at times throughout future history to remain free. The clergymen of that time, the Black Robe Regiment and others, supported and preached the need for individual and guaranteed freedoms.
Please help remind and inform the clergymen and church leaders of today…
