"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Being an immigrant myself and growing up around a nucleus of immigrants… all I can say is "Amen to this! 99 years later. What a visionary that Teddy R."
Then we come to the question… what is wrong with our polititians today?? What is wrong with a Country that doesn’t get that uncontrolled immigration and uncontrolled population will destroy any country and any society and end everything that makes it worth coming to or living in???
People… If we don’t insist that our own laws are obeyed we will have anarchy and will deserve nothing less. What are we thinking? Have we become that undisciplined and that oblivious that we really think that everything will be fine and that the government grows unending money somewhere in some forest outside of Washington DC?
What we need is a polititian… LEADER, who isn’t afraid to do the right thing for America and HER PEOPLE… Where are you? President Bush, it could be you. You are never running for office againg!! Remember??? Step up!
