If we don’t stand up now—it’s over for America!!

When you can’t defend your position, remember the three golden words: racist, bigot and phobic. This deflect and redirect formula is the basic strategic solution to use against an opponent who is winning the argument on facts to make their defense appear inadequate. In the following article, we find a beautiful example of redefining terms, history and facts of what’s occurring.
In a Breitbart.com article, Joel B. Pollack exposes the latest adversary to safe borders called the “The Tequila Party,” consisting of Hispanics as a push back against the Tea Party. ‘Tequila’ vs. ‘Tea’? It’s usually a sober mind that prevails—but that’s their choice.
California attorney Ruben Salazar, Dee Dee Garcia Blasé and Nebraska (not California) attorney Shirl Mora James, contacted U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, to launch an “outside investigation” of the following Murrieta city defenders: Diana Serafin, Patrice Lynes, Mayor Alan Long, along with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Agents—Steven Golda and Gabe Pacheo—the Murrieta Police Department and a resident of Murrieta, California—Joseph Culberson. This request by The Tequila Party for an independent investigation to be performed by Eric Holder seems to be an oxymoron since we’ve seen how independent their investigations have been—Fast and Furious—IRS. You get the picture. If this were the Civil War (which it’s rapidly becoming), we would have to call Eric Holder “General Stonewall” Holder. What are the charges being put forth against these Patriots and government officials? “…homeland domestic terrorists (masquerading as Patriots),” accusing them of …“obstructing federal law enforcement from performing their jobs and terrorizing small refugee children from Central America with racial slurs.”
Now let me get this straight. We are talking about a United States Border Patrol facility located in Murrieta, California, with an onslaught of invaders illegally flooding into our country—and possibly into our city, and bringing with them vermin and disease (not racial slurs, just established facts)—and The Tequila Party is accusing the ones standing in the gap of breaking the law?
I spoke to Diana Serafin and Patrice Lynes, two of the parties named in The Tequila’s Tea Party letter to Eric Holder.
Serafin said,
First, a clarification to the Breitbart article. I am not a councilwoman, but am running for the City Council. That being said, I am not a terrorist; I am a patriot. My office is filled with patriot books, items and decorations. My living room has framed constitutions. I donate to charities and I give free constitutions to young people. I am a widow, mother, and grandmother. I am running for City Council because I see the direction our city, state and country are going, and I fear for our freedoms. I am concerned for our Border Patrol agents, our local law enforcement officers. I wanted to do this to support them. I am also concerned for my country and my city. The immigrants have diseases—scabies, T.B. and there has been one case of swine flu reported. Our system cannot handle this. It will be a huge load on our healthcare, education and financial systems. If we don’t stand up now—it’s over for America.
From Patrice Lynes:
Because I love America and want it to remain a sovereign nation, I know in my heart that unless we get out there and each do what we can to keep America free, it will not be free for long. Was it not Reagan who said freedom is the responsibility of each generation to preserve it for the next (paraphrased)? Well, I am willing and able to protest and stand in front of buses and do it as needed. I want the illegal aliens repatriated to their home countries. I support the Border Patrol as I know their hands are tied and when asked in interviews about the children, my response is what about our children? What about our Veteran, our unemployed and underemployed. What about our more than 400,000 children in foster care ? We cannot even take care of our own citizens. How are we to absorb this invasion? We want to remain the United States of America, not the United States of the World , or the North American Union.
History shows that wars start because of invasions and in light of that, we are reminded of the words spoken by our Founding Fathers, still echoing in our hearts today as they faced the British at Lexington and Concord: “Stand your ground, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here!”—John Parker, captain of militia at Lexington.
