“If you are a thinking patriotic American, why are you not a member of the Tea Party?” … Lloyd Marcus
By Marion Algier – AskMarion
As I recently watched the movie “Saving Mr. Banks (Blu-ray)”… definitely worth the watch, it reminded me of the line in Dr. P.L. Travers’ book(s) and corresponding movie, Mary Poppins, when Mary tells her new charges that she will stay until the wind shifts.
And that is exactly what is happening in America… the wind has shifted and with it the support for Progressivism, Socialism and the Nanny-State are waning as the support for Patriotism, Constitutionalism and Fiscal Conservatism are correspondingly on the rise.
Right after Barack Obama and Joe Biden were elected, Biden made a statement that they were on a timetable and only had a short time to get things done… to implement their Progressive agenda to fundamentally transform America. Deep down they probably wondered if there would be a second term. They got their second turn, but they never counted on the rise of the Tea Party… grassroots fiscal conservatives who believed in freedom, the Constitution and that they were Taxed Enough Already.
And since Obama’s second Inauguration, which included the disappointing botched rollout of ObamaCare, the wind has shifted:
The Elephants in the room are starting to be attacked as almost daily breaking facts about many of the long list of scandals in which the the Obama administration has been involved keep surfacing instead of going away; Benghazi… and Lois Lerner & the IRS to mention just a couple. Even some members of the mainstream media, who have been repressed and controlled by the Obama administration, are intermittently beginning to cover situations like the stand-off in Nevada between the Feds and the ranchers #BundyRanch. A standoff being linked to Progressive Senate majority leader Harry Reid. And with the shifting winds, there have recently also been several Congressional hearings and court battles that have gone against Progressivism and the Obama administration and their push for ever bigger government.
Early April 2014, Jon Scott hosted Fox News Reporting: Enemies of the State.
The special Fox News investigation brings you four stories of private citizens who found themselves in the battle of their lives against the government.
Scott talked to Catherine Engelbrecht, president of True the Vote. After starting two conservative political groups, she found herself under investigation by four federal agencies—including the IRS, the ATF and the FBI —and is then publicly accused by senior members of Congress of waging a voter suppression campaign.
In February 2012, the ATF showed up at the Engelbrecht’s manufacturing business in Rosenberg, Texas, demanding to know if they were illegally manufacturing guns.
Engelbrecht told Scott she believes the government was looking for a way to scare them.
The Ground Zero Mosque is not going to be built, by AWR HAWKINS Breitbart News:
The Ground Zero Mosque, which caused such a stir in 2010 because of its close proximity to the very spot where Americans were attacked by Islamists on 9/11, is being demolished.
And the person demolishing it is the same person who argued for its existence–Sharif El-Gamel.
According to Yahoo News, El-Gamel is a real estate developer who discovered there was no money to be made via the Ground Zero Mosque. He said the project suffered from “a lack of financial support from the Muslim community.”
A consultant who works closely with El-Gamel said the developer simply “couldn’t raise the funds” without help from the Muslim community.
Besides the lack of money, a piece of one of the planes that hit the WTC towers was recently discovered on the property on which the mosque was being built. These both contribute to a situation in which El-Gamel “seems to be in such a rush to do the job that he has filed for the permits [to demolish] before he actually becomes the…owner” of the building.”
Christian are beginning to speak out:
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) went after President Barack Obama’s views on gay marriage Friday, questioning the commander-in-chief’s changes in his “Christian convictions.”
In an interview with Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor,” guest host Laura Ingraham asked Huckabee if there was a concerted effort out there to tar conservatives as anti-gay. Huckabee said that his views were no different than those of Obama’s in 2008, shifting the focus to how the president has changed his stance.
“He said it was because of his Christian convictions,” Huckabee said of Obama. “Does he have them or does he not? If one has them, they don’t change depending on what the culture does. You don’t take an opinion poll to come up with a new point of view.”
Shortly after Obama announced his backing of gay marriage in May 2012, PolitiFact ran a test on the president’s remarks, finding that he had made a full flop from his previous views:
Obama, a consistent supporter of civil rights for gay couples, nevertheless said as early as 2004 and through 2008 that he didn’t support same-sex marriage. He had written that he believed “that American society can choose to carve out a special place for the union of a man and a woman.” In 2010, he said he wasn’t prepared to reverse himself. This week, the president said he thinks same-sex couples should be able to get married. On the Flip-O-Meter, he earns a Full Flop.
Huckabee’s remarks come a few days after delivering the keynote speech to the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition, where he denied being a “hater” or “homophobic” because of his views toward gay marriage. When it comes to homosexuality, Huckabee said scripture has traditional marriage on “the right side of the Bible.”
“When people say, ‘Why don’t you just kind of get on the right side of history?’ I said, ‘You’ve got to understand, this for me is not about the right side or the wrong side of history, this is the right side of the Bible, and unless God rewrites it, edits it, sends it down with his signature on it, it’s not my book to change.’ Folks, that’s why I stand where I stand,” Huckabee told the crowd.

Black Conservataives Allen West and Lloyd Marcus tell it the way it is on Racism:
Allen West: “This is my clear and succinct message to white Americans. How long will it be before ‘you people’ realize you have elevated someone to the office of president who abjectly despises you — not to mention his henchman Holder,” he wrote. “Combined they are the most vile and disgusting racists — not you.”
Lloyd Marcus: Alas, another reporter asked me the same question I have been repeatedly asked for the past five years. “As an African-American, why are you a member of the Tea Party?” It dawned on me to ask the reporter, “If you are a thinking patriotic American, why are you not a member of the Tea Party?”
Americans are beginning to pray for America, are going back to church and are reading the Constitution and getting involved:
We have been on the path that nations go down when they die, but “if we were to change and repent, as a nation… God would forgive us and might go back to protecting us and guiding us.”, a thought echoed by Anne Graham Lotz, the daughter of Billy Graham after 9/11.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin tops a national poll of female candidates that Americans want to run for president. The Economist/YouGov survey asked respondents in a series of polls last week which female candidate not named Hillary Clinton they would want to run for president.
Palin is first in the national survey with 9%, followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and former Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice with 8%. Michelle Obama is fourth with 2% of the vote.
In other national polls, Palin has the highest favorability rating among Republican presidential primary voters. If she does not run in 2016, her influence and potential endorsement could tip the GOP presidential contest that may be the most split in the last 40 years. The candidates she has supported, including Ted Cruz, call her the Kingmaker. CNN and former Senator Jim DeMint, now head of the Heritage Foundation, have said that Palin’s influence is far from diminishing and that her endorsement is the best you can get in Conservative circles. But the cries of ‘Run Sarah Run’ are becoming louder and louder from an ever growing circle of supporters!
The winds have shifted. We the people have a window for a second chance! Get-Involved!!

BUT, beware the ides of RINO. The Republican elites like Rove and Prebus are striving very hard in the the background to kill this whole coup de’ main …. anything that smacks of a rise of the average man and a reduction in elite domination of the political process is to be stopped at any cost. They would rather see a 3rd term of Obama or a Clinton in the White House in 2016 than any sort of victory by someone NOT named Bush or Christie.
