Did Sarah Palin Predict Russia Invading Ukraine If Obama Got Elected?…

Heck yes!!!  Sarah predicted it and was right!! And she predicted a lot of other things that she was equally criticized over and was right about them as well. And even though 70% of GOP Primary voters said in a recent poll that they would vote for Palin as their first choice and she is the best, if not only shot, to both beat Hillary Clinton and the Democrats’ ‘carrot’ of electing the first female president in 2016, the RNC Chairman, Reince Priebus, and the Republican Party establishment still don’t get it.  Priebus and his Co-Chair even released a statement on March 1st 2014 about Women’s History Month and left off the GOP’s only female VP and presidential ticket candidate, Sarah Palin.  Meanwhile the Democrats are doing whatever they can to protect and cover-up for Hillary Clinton… their presumptive candidate for the first female president in 2016 in spite of Benghazi and a lifetime of lies and scandals. TheBlaze: Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is saying “I told you so” following reports of a potential Russian “military invasion” in Ukraine.

Told Ya So!

Though she was mocked for it, Palin actually speculated in 2008 that Russian President Vladimir Putin would be encouraged to invade Ukraine after President Barack Obama’s weak response to the nation invading Georgia.

“After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama’s reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia’s Putin to invade Ukraine next,” Palin told Foreign Policy in 2008, “

As Mediaite’s Andrew Kirell points out, conservative websites and personalities are now reminding people of the quote.

Mitt Romney also said during the final 2012 campaign debate that Russia is our top geopolitical foe, to which President Obama smuggly responded:

“Gov. Romney, I’m glad that you recognize that al-Qaida is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what’s the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not al-Qaida. You said Russia … the 1980s, they’re now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because, you know, the Cold War’s been over for 20 years.”

It is time that we, the American people, go back to doing our homework, educating ourselves and our children and stop relying on the complicit “government media” for our news, information… and ultimatley our choices!

Palin herself took to Facebook on Friday to remind supporters of her prediction.

“Yes, I could see this one from Alaska. I’m usually not one to Told-Ya-So, but I did, despite my accurate prediction being derided as ‘an extremely far-fetched scenario’ by the ‘high-brow’ Foreign Policy magazine,” she wrote. “Here’s what this ‘stupid’ ‘insipid woman’ predicted back in 2008.”

The Clear And Present Danger of Russian Expansionism:  Russian troops took over the strategic Crimean peninsula Saturday without firing a shot. The newly installed government in Kyiv was powerless to react, and despite calls by U.S. President Barack Obama for Russia to pull back its forces, Western governments had few options to counter Russia’s military moves.  It is the price of weakness!!

The former Governor of Alaska and Republican vice presidential nominee said she was derided for her comments about the Ukraine which on Friday she called an “accurate prediction” on foreign policy, making reference to the notable interview during the 2008 election in which Palin talked about the proximity of Russia and Alaska and was spoofed by Tina Fey on “Saturday Night Live” with the famous line, “I can see Russia from my house! But now it seems she was right!

Glenn Beck explains why Russia is in fact the United States’ biggest geopolitical foe

On Monday, 03.0314, Sarah Palin appeared on Hannity:

Palin explained why all it took was common sense to know that Putin wanted to re-grow the old Soviet empire and that retaking Ukraine was on his agenda. She said he’s gonna continue, especially under this president, because people see Obama as wearing mom jeans while people see Putin as one who wrestles bears.

People are looking at Putin as one who wrestles bears and drills for oil. They look at our president as one who wears mom jeans and equivocates and bloviates. We are not exercising that peace through strength that can only be brought to you courtesy of the red, white and blue, that only a strengthened US military can do.

Watch the full interview:

And this is far from the only thing Sarah Palin was right about that the Jour“no”lists who colluded to purposely mislead the American people about twisted or ignored.  Time to revisit Palin Derangement Syndrome that the Progressive Left manufactured and has kept going because they knew Palin was right and they feared her because average Americans love her!

Sarah Palin Can Win in 2016 and she is the weapon that the GOP needs to battle and beat both Hillary Clinton and the Democrat’s carrot of electing the first female President of the United States!!  There are some good men out there and some good thoughts on coalitions, but we need a tough tested woman… We need Sarah Palin at the top of ticket! In an interview on Sarah’s 50th Birthday with Inside Edition, she said, “I would like to see two women candidates battle for the presidency in 2016,” and there is nobody as tough, as tested, as vetted, as qualified or as prepared to wage that battle as Sarah Palin!

“Having two women duke it out for leadership of the free world, that sounds pretty good to me,” said Palin in her  Inside Edition interview from Pasadena, California, to promote her new show, Amazing America with Sarah Palin on the The Sportsman Channel and celebrating her 50th.

Palin would be a more than a formidable candidate if she decides to run for the Republican presidential nomination. She would arguably have the highest floor of support of any candidate and in a recent poll, Sarah Palin had the highest favorability rating among GOP primary voters and her favorability is rising in all circles.

“Whatever one thinks of Sarah Palin should not distract from this truth: President Obama proposes to let government bureaucrats decide who gets medical care and who does not,” said Michael F. Sarah Palin was right about Death Panels

Some Democrats are signing on to bills repealing the powers of the Independent Payment Advisory Board to effectively ration health care for seniors. So Sarah Palin was right about those death panels after all.  Palin was mocked by liberals when at a Tea Party rally in Reno, Nevada, in late 2010, shortly before the GOP… yet now people from the left like Howard Dean and Naom Chomsky admit she was right… about a lot of things!

About Ask Marion

I am a babyboomer and empty nester who savors every moment of my past and believes that it is the responsibility of each of us in my generation and Americans in general to make sure that America is as good or even a better place for future generations as it was for us. So far... we haven't done very well!! Favorite Quotes: "The first 50 years are to build and acquire; the second 50 are to leave your legacy"; "Do something that scares you every day!"; "The journey in between what you once were and who you are becoming is where the dance of life really takes place". At age 62 I find myself fighting inoperable uterine Cancer and thanks to the man upstairs and the prayers from so many people including many of my readers from AskMarion and JustOneMorePet... I'm beating it. After losing our business because of the economy and factors related to the re-election of President Obama in 2012 followed by 16-mos of job hunting, my architect-trained husband is working as a trucker and has only been home approximately 5-days a month since I was diagnosed, which has made everything more difficult and often lonely... plus funds are tight. Our family medical deductible is 12K per year for two of us; thank you ObamaCare. But thanks to donations from so many of you, we are making ends meet as I go through treatment while taking care of my father-in-law who is suffering from late stage Alzheimer's and my mother-in-law who suffers from RA and onset dementia as well as hearing loss, for which there are no caretaker funds, as I continue the fight here online to inform and help restore our amazing country. And finally I need to thank a core group of family, friends, and readers... all at a distance, who check in with me regularly. Plus, I must thank my furkids who have not left my side through this fight. You can see them at JustOneMorePet.
