So if the President of the United States has to show ID to vote in his home state of Illinois, in the City of Chicago filled with minorities who seem to have IDs, then why is it unreasonable, an overreach and with merit for North Carolina, Texas or other states that generally go Republican in national elections to require ID for people to vote, to stop people who are ineligible from voting, or stop people from voting twice?
Without a doubt, the DOJ is now an arm of the DNC and pivotal to Obama’s long-term Progressive agenda!! That is why the DOJ’s eyes are on North Carolina, Texas and any other red state.
Pirate’s Cove: Has anyone told the uber-politicized head of the DOJ that Obama had to show ID to vote?
(Raleigh N&O) Gov. Pat McCrory on Monday called the U.S. Justice Department’s lawsuit against North Carolina’s voting law “overreach and without merit.”
“I firmly believe we’ve done the right thing. I believe this is good law. And I strongly disagree with the action that the attorney general has taken,” McCrory told reporters.
The governor, dressed more casually than normal after his visit to the N.C. Zoo earlier in the day, struck a defiant tone in his remarks. He cast the legal battle as a matter of state’s rights, saying he would “defend our right to have common sense laws right here in North Carolina.”
McCrory called the move political and fired back at President Barack Obama, citing a video — from a year ago — showing the president presenting an identification card to vote in Chicago. “I believe if showing a voter ID is good enough and fair enough for our own president in Illinois, it’s good enough for the people in North Carolina,” he said. “I think it is obviously influenced by national politics since the Justice Department ignores similar laws in other blue states.”
Of course it’s political. Has the DOJ gone after any Blue states? In Illinois one must show an ID for early voting. Video below:
Collusion by the mainstream government controlled media and subverting voter ID laws in red states is very much part of Obama’s and the Progressive plan to retain power because both will give them the opportunity to steal future elections!
The idea that students and minorities do not have and cannot get ID is both insane and insulting. Most of the states looking to uphold or enact their voter ID laws are willing to supply anyone without a proper ID, a free one. And let’s get real, even checking out a library book requires ID and if someone cannot get an ID, they probably won’t be voting, but that doesn’t mean that someone else won’t be voting for them and maybe even multiple times if no ID is required.
Various groups from both the United States and the United Nations monitor elections all over the world, to guarantee they are fair and honest. Former President Jimmy Carter has often been part of one of those groups.
Here is a thought… How about we go this route?:
We required the people of Iraq to dip their forefinger into ink when they voted. Simple… No ID required and the ink wears off in a week or so. I’d be willing to show ID and dip my finger into ink when I vote. What about you?
Stand Up Against Voter Fraud… Demand Re-Counts and Verification Until the Vote Count is Right… No Matter How Long It Takes!! A Little Ink Goes a Long Way Toward Honesty… 1 Person 1 Vote… No More Mickey Mouse or Dead People Voting and no more Al Frankens Allowed to Take Their Seat When the Vote is in Question!
And Get Rid of the Voting Machines Without Receipts and Stop Letting our Votes be Counted by Companies Overseas.
IT IS ALL ABOUT COMMON SENSE, THE LAW AND GETTING INVOLVED!!
