Sarah Is Back…

Political activist and tea party favorite Lloyd Marcus echoed the thoughts of many Conservatives in his article: “The Gladiator Sarah Palin: We Need You Back in the Arena”  He wrote:

Hello, calling Sarah Palin! Has anyone seen her? Where is she? Has Sarah Palin left the building? Is the Palin magic gone forever? No. The Palin charisma and mass appeal is still alive and well.

Certain people are born gifted with “It”; something that compels you to watch them. Sarah Palin is one such individual. Though politically tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail by the Left and a few spineless Republicans, I pray for the day when my favorite gladiator Sarah Palin returns to the arena.

Unquestionably, the vitriolic attacks on Palin and her family, the betrayals by Republicans and associates left Palin severely wounded. Who among us could endure and survive the full weight of the MSM launched to destroy you? It is quite understandable and reasonable if Palin were to say, Forget this. Todd and I are goin’ fishin’.

But, the Bible says to whom much is given, much is required. While Palin has not reported seeing a burning bush, I believe Sarah Palin has been called for such a time as this. I pray she will feel lead to return to Rome (Washington DC) to fight in the arena. At the moment, there is no one in the national arena who inspires the masses to follow and act on their convictions in mass like Palin.

Please allow me to re-share my personal testimony of the ‘Palin Effect’.  With Sarah Palin as the keynote speaker, Tea Party Express launched one of it’s tours in Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s home town Searchlight Nevada, a small dust bowl town. Twenty-five thousand people showed up, RVs parked everywhere because many arrived days early to stake out their spot.

From inside our Tea Party Express tour bus as we approached the site, I saw seniors parked a mile away making their way to the event using walkers. It gave me goosebumps. Obviously, this woman, Sarah Palin, represented the America they loved and feared was slipping away.

Despite all of the scandals, lies, outrageous government overreaches and abuses of our civil liberties under this administration, Obama still gets a pass in the minds of far too many ill-informed Americans. Decades of dumbing down students have produced exactly what the Left wants, sheep totally dependent on government – clueless regarding U.S. History and the cost and value of freedom.

So, Obama can ignore the Constitution and do whatever he pleases as long as the food stamps, disability checks, welfare checks and free phones keep coming. Under Obama, an unprecedented half of the country is eating, talking on their phones and driving without working for it – a Democratic party dream come true.

I asked friends at dinner, “How did Ronald Reagan win in a landslide touting Conservatism? Jerry Falwell and his Moral Majority was said to have figured in the mix. Americans, for the most part, are a moral and just people. I believe Reagan touting values which spoke to the hearts and minds of decent people is what inspired Americans to be all they could be.

I was a 20 something year old black kid from the East Baltimore projects back then. I knew nothing about politics. All I knew was that every-time I heard President Reagan speak, I felt good about my country and myself. Reagan made me feel I could achieve and contribute to this wonderful country in which I was blessed to be born called America.

Where are the voices inspiring folks to love and contribute to the greatness of their country? I know, I know. Such talk sounds corny and naïve today. In Obama’s America, signing up for government assistance and approving of government confiscating the earnings of high achievers for redistribution is the new definition of compassion and patriotism.

Even being proud of our country is now considered to be a bad thing under Obama. When outside of the U.S. Obama continuously apologizes for who we are – furthering the narrative that the world has too little because we have too much. Amazingly, Reagan saw this mindset coming and warned us.

We need a hero folks – someone willing to stand up for America, boldly waving our flag and touting the virtues of hard work, self-reliance, family, God and country. I believe Sarah Palin can pull it off.

Reading my own words sound a bit corny even to me. Folks, have we become so cynical, so tainted that asking Americans to strive for goodness and righteousness rather than becoming permanent government welfare recipients is an outdated impossible dream of the past?

Sarah Palin, please come back. Run for office. We long to cheer you on as our gladiator in the arena.

And like an answered prayer, Sarah Palin is back!

Not only did she get another Fox News contract, she was the star of Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Conference this past weekend for her slashing attacks not only on President Obama and Democrats but on Republican sellouts (and 2016 hopefuls) like Jeb Bush. Watching Palin gleefully take on Bush, who made a dumb comment about needing immigration reform because immigrants are “more fertile” than native-born Americans, was a thing of beauty!

Sarah Palin made her return debut on Fox and Friends co-hosting with Steve Doocey, Brian Kilmi and Megyn Kelly:

Sarah rocked the Fox and Friends house on her first morning back, even though some thought she was a little bit subdued… for Sarah, but not to worry; knowing Sarah it won’t be for long.  She was in full swing at the Faith and Freedom Coalition annual conference in Washington, D.C. over the weekend. Palin’s best line came at the start of the Fox and Friends program, when they showed a clip of her speech from over the weekend at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference (See in full below) reminding us just how much we missed her… and need her!

Congress should “put themselves on Ted Cruz control for a week,” said Palin.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), was a phone-in guest, which was how they played that bit, and note her comment that the US should “let Allah sort it out” in Syria, instead of ramping up military aid to Syrian rebels.

Palin talked a bit about her upcoming Christmas book, Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas, which she described as a legal primer to “pushing back on the politically correct who would try to take the Christ out of Christmas,” but also a “festive and jolly” book with recipes. Seems she and Governor Perry of Texas are both getting a jump on ‘the war on Christmas’.

Sarah then spent a lot of time conflating the IRS scandal, in which agency officials vetting applications for nonprofit 501(c)(4) status singled out politically conservative groups for special scrutiny, and recent revelations about the extent to which the National Security Agency (NSA) captures the communications data of Americans.

“This is one big ball of wax of a big, overgrown government that has gotten out of control and the people have had enough,” said the former Alaskan governor.

Palin appeared to agree with fellow tea party favorite Senator Rand Paul, (R-KY)  in regard to NSA leaker and self-described whistleblower Edward Snowden, observing at one point that “nothing will ever be the same for this man,” and also saying, “I think that the issue again is that government is so large and so intrusive in all aspects of life that we need more revelations, we need more truth about what our administration is doing.”

She’ll certainly ramp things up in appearances to come with utterances liberals will find outrageous and that Tea Party members and Constitutionalist in general will love… as she did at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Annual Conference!

Sarah Also Just Unloaded On The GOP Over Amnesty Bill:

She must be feeling particularly betrayed, since a number of the senators that voted for this atrocity like Marco Rubio and Kelly Ayotte on got there because of her and the Tea Party activist’s help.

Here’s her full Facebook post:

Please take a look at the article linked below to understand how the amnesty bill the Senate passed yesterday is a sad betrayal of working class Americans of every ethnicity who will see their wages lowered and their upward mobility lowered too. And yet we still do not have a secured border. This Senate-approved amnesty bill rewards lawbreakers and won’t solve any problems – as the CBO report notes that millions of more illegal immigrants will continue to flood the U.S. in coming years.

Great job, GOP establishment. You’ve just abandoned the Reagan Democrats with this amnesty bill, and we needed them to “enlarge that tent” of which you so often speak. It’s depressing to consider that the House of Representatives is threatening to pass some version of this nonsensical bill in the coming weeks.

Once again, I’ll point out the obvious to you: it was the loss of working class voters in swing states that cost us the 2012 election, not the Hispanic vote. Legal immigrants respect the rule of law and can see how self-centered a politician must be to fill this amnesty bill with favors, earmarks, and crony capitalists’ pork, and call it good. You disrespect Hispanics with your assumption that they desire ignoring the rule of law.

Folks like me are barely hanging on to our enlistment papers in any political party – and it’s precisely because flip-flopping political actions like amnesty force us to ask how much more bull from both the elephants in the Republican Party and the jackasses in the Democrat Party we have to swallow before these political machines totally abandon the average commonsense hardworking American. Now we turn to watch the House. If they bless this new “bi-partisan” hyper-partisan devastating plan for amnesty, we’ll know that both private political parties have finally turned their backs on us. It will then be time to show our parties’ hierarchies what we think of being members of either one of these out-of-touch, arrogant, and dysfunctional political machines.

– Sarah Palin

As usual, she’s 100% correct wrote Rob of Joshua Pundit.

The entire GOP Renaissance in 2010 only happened because of Sarah Palin and then-Senator Jim DeMint, and the GOP establishment fought them every step of the way.

The reward for both of them was essentially to be ridiculed and driven from the GOP.

Notice this part: Folks like me are barely hanging on to our enlistment papers in any political party – and it’s precisely because flip-flopping political actions like amnesty force us to ask how much more bull from both the elephants in the Republican Party and the jackasses in the Democrat Party we have to swallow before these political machines totally abandon the average commonsense hardworking American.

I think Governor Palin and those that think like her are fed up to the point they have an entirely new, independent movement in mind. I think it’s been brewing for some time, and that it’s probably far too late to stop it even if the House rejects the Amnesty bill. Which, of course is exactly how the Republican Party was born in the first place, over disgust with the Whigs on slavery and a number of myriad other issues.

The GOP establishment hates conservatives, hates the Tea Party, hates people like Ted Cruz, Jeff Sessions, Mike Lee, Sarah Palin and Jim DeMint. They want them out of the Republican Party.

I think they’re going to get their wish. But I doubt they’re going to like the results!

And for those who missed Sarah… or are just now ready to hear what she has to say… She’s definitely back!  In an independent poll taken by on whether Sarah should run for the Senate, at last look 89% said YES!

About Ask Marion

I am a babyboomer and empty nester who savors every moment of my past and believes that it is the responsibility of each of us in my generation and Americans in general to make sure that America is as good or even a better place for future generations as it was for us. So far... we haven't done very well!! Favorite Quotes: "The first 50 years are to build and acquire; the second 50 are to leave your legacy"; "Do something that scares you every day!"; "The journey in between what you once were and who you are becoming is where the dance of life really takes place". At age 62 I find myself fighting inoperable uterine Cancer and thanks to the man upstairs and the prayers from so many people including many of my readers from AskMarion and JustOneMorePet... I'm beating it. After losing our business because of the economy and factors related to the re-election of President Obama in 2012 followed by 16-mos of job hunting, my architect-trained husband is working as a trucker and has only been home approximately 5-days a month since I was diagnosed, which has made everything more difficult and often lonely... plus funds are tight. Our family medical deductible is 12K per year for two of us; thank you ObamaCare. But thanks to donations from so many of you, we are making ends meet as I go through treatment while taking care of my father-in-law who is suffering from late stage Alzheimer's and my mother-in-law who suffers from RA and onset dementia as well as hearing loss, for which there are no caretaker funds, as I continue the fight here online to inform and help restore our amazing country. And finally I need to thank a core group of family, friends, and readers... all at a distance, who check in with me regularly. Plus, I must thank my furkids who have not left my side through this fight. You can see them at JustOneMorePet.
