New Word For The Day – “Dhimmitude” – What Does It Mean?
Obama used it in the health care bill. It was specifically spelled out in one of the original drafts of the ObamaCare bill (page 107) but was taken out after negative fallout from those who actually read the bill.
Now isn’t this interesting?
Dhimmitude — I had never heard the word until now, nor did barely anyone unless they read the ObamaCare Bill. Type it into Google and start reading. Pretty interesting. It’s on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists. It is a REAL word.

Folks, this is exclusively an Islamic concept under Sharia Law. So exclusive they had to make up an English word to define the concept. Why would our government start interjecting Sharia Law concepts into new broad and sweeping legislation like health care reform that would control the US population? ….Anyone?

So a Christian (Jew, Buddhist, Aethiest, etc) , will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of their assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because they refuse to buy health insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan and all other U.S. Muslims will have no such penalty and will have 100% of their health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-Muslims paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Sharia Law definition of… Dhimmitude. This is not a Western Civilization concept.
Dhimmit has two purposes: To enrich Muslims AND to drive conversions to Islam. “Sure, I’ll be a Muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign, bro?” (not for me, I will suffer first). So… are you asking yourself, why would our president and the people who wrote the healthcare bill put this in there???

It is not ‘specifically’ written there, but the intent is still there. The war against creeping Sharia is one of the biggest wars we are fighting and the present adminstration is not on our side. Look at Europe. That is where we are headed because we aren’t paying attention.

If you read through the comments and updates, you will see that the healthcare bill has been re-written, changed, edited and manipulated. There are things that were in one version, but not in another. I read the first two versions in full. Other things that were in the orginal versions are now implied, hidden, or in the stack of thousands of pages. The words like Dhimmitude, death panel, single payer system etc are not spelled out… ‘intentionally’. Their intent, rules to get you there and/or descriptions that will bring you to those places and actions are in there and written, hopefully for them, that you don’t put two and two together. —In the case of an individual who is seeking an exemption certificate under section 1311(d)(4)(H) from any requirement or penalty imposed by section 5000A, the following information:
In the case of an individual seeking exemption based on the individual’s status as a
member of an exempt religious sect or division, as a member of a health care sharing ministry, as an Indian, or as an individual eligible for a hardship exemption, such information as the Secretary shall prescribe.”

This was postd so long ago that I’d have to go back and check, but I believe this message or blurb was originally passed or emailed to me with the snopes reference… If you look up snopes here on the site, there is a whole post about them. I think we should all be exempt from this bill, but the specific issue here is the intent. I am not a bigot and I am a Christian. I try to get the information out there and I have some good sources, including a couple Muslin friends. The name calling sounds like an Alinsky Progressive type argument to me. It also does not sound very Christian, which calls on us to tell the truth, even when it is not popular. I have been blogging, just on this site for 7-years and I get very few negative responses back but this subject has certainly stirred people up… which is good. I have received some (quite a few) vile comments from a lot of people who never read the HC bill nor even a review of ‘radical’ Islamic teachings (I’ve done both) yet felt they should attack me and or the information. I have had to delete them because of language and hateful content which I will not post. It serves no purpose.
Marion, it seems I can’t reply directly to your response so I’ll have to do it here. I did not call you either a liar or a bigot. I was simply trying to point out how important it is that we take every possible effort to ensure that the information we pass on is correct and cannot be disproven. With the internet, we are all inundated with information and we have to find a means of deciphering fact from fiction. The means I use is to do my research on the subject starting with checking the references sited (in this case, it was the heathcare bill itself and the snopes article – both of which discredited what you have stated), if after I’ve done my research I find too much information that causes me to question the validity of the author, then that will be the last time I read anything by that author. We simply don’t have enough time in our lives to give the written word too many chances. Some people read posts like this because they just like reading things that support the opinion they already have of a person, while others read to educate themselves. You’ll always be able to capture the attention of the first, but I suspect your writing with the intention of capturing the latter. I happen to be in the latter category. Also, apparently I’m not talking through my hat because I have read quite a bit of the HC bill and am fairly knowlegable of Islam teachings and while I find it to be an abomination to Christ, I still don’t feel that you can say it’s fair to exclude Amish but not Islam – beliefs are beliefs regardless of how repulsive they are and since our founding fathers failed to put limits around our “freedom of religion”, we’re now stuck with having Islamic believing Muslims in our country and to discriminate now leads us down a very slippery slope.

I hate to defend Obamacare, but there are other religious groups out there that may be exempted. The Amish for example, perhaps Christian Scientists. Groups that have filed for exemptions to Social Security are also exempt from purchasing insurance under Obamacare. Most of them are anabaptist Christian groups.
In any event, none of this will matter when the individual mandate is ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.

Please explain why the Amish should be exempt but Muslims should not? I’m not trying to defend Muslims in any way shape or form but that sounds to me to be a double standard. If insurance goes against the religious beliefs of both groups then both groups should be exempt.
We should all be exempt from this bad law which is what will happen when we replace Obama in November, unless the individual mandate gets struck down by SCOTOS after the hearing this weekend. I am for religious exemption and religious freedom. I am worried about the intent of Dhimmitude as well as the intent of much else in this bill.

The Supreme Court is composed of 9 Justices, not 3. Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito are nearly certain to vote against the individual mandate. Sotomayor, Kagan and Ginsberg are almost certain to vote in favor of it. Lately Justice Breyer has tended against expansion of state power but I would bet good money that he sides with the other Democrat appointees. The question is which way does Justice Kennedy vote. For the last decade or so Kennedy has been the swing vote on the court. More often than not he’s sided with the conservatives, especially so when it comes to expansion of executive power. I think he votes against the individual mandate, which is why I think it will be ruled unconstitutional in a 5-4 decision.

I you read through the long chain of emails you will see the explanation that it has been written to be used as the powers that be choose to. I think we are beginning to see that. As Sharia creeps in they will be exempted if the present administration or a progressive adminstration are in power. I read the entire page 107 of hr bill 3962 and not one mention of who is exempted. so would someone tell exactly where it is, please. i cannot find it.

Are American Muslims exempt from the requirement to purchase health insurance under the individual mandate of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)?
There has been a lot of talk, and a number of Internet rumors, to the effect that Muslims are exempt from the PPACA’s individual mandate; that Muslims will get free health care under the PPACA, while the non-Muslim population of the United States will be required to purchase government administered health insurance. Therefore, according to rumor, non-Muslim Americans will be paying for American Muslims’ health care; in other words “dhimmitude.” There is even a rumor that the word “dhimmitude” –used to denote subservience to Islam by non-Muslims, is actually used—on p. 107 of H.R. 3590 of the PPACA bill.
The rumors of free health care for Muslims are based on Shariah law’s prohibition on insurance. Insurance violates the tenets against riba (interest); al-maisir (gambling) and al-gharar (uncertainty). Interest paid on insurance investments violates Shariah’s rules against usury. Thus, under a strict interpretation of the Koran, Muslims are exempt from ObamaCare. However, the talk and the rumors are false—the word “dhimmitude” isn’t used anywhere in H.R. 3590, and depending on how PPACA rules are applied, there is at least an even chance that the scenario of American Muslims being exempt from the requirement to purchase insurance under the individual mandate won’t play out.
To be sure, the PPACA does grant a number of exemptions from the requirement to purchase the “minimum essential coverage.” (Whatever that is — Health and Human Service Secretary Kathleen Sebelius hasn’t yet defined it.) Prisoners, illegal aliens, and foreign nationals are exempt. In addition, there is a religious exemption.
Under Subtitle F, Part I, Section 1501—the individual responsibility requirement to maintain minimum essential coverage—individuals must be “a member of a recognized religious sect” that doesn’t participate in Social Security. According to a January 2011 Heritage Foundation WebMemo, they must pay no Social Security taxes and receive none of the benefits, in accordance with Section 1402(g)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code. The religious exemption applies to any person who is a member of a “recognized religious sect or division” with “established tenets or teachings” that would forbid that person from accepting public or private insurance. Thus the Amish, who believe in taking care of their own elderly and don’t participate in Social Security, are exempt, as are Mennonites and Scientologists.

Islam Q&A: Health Insurance Is ‘Haraam’

Ruling on working in insurance companies or broker companies when insurance becomes obligatory
Health insurance is going to be compulsory for all companies and associations in our country. The insurance company will not have direct relationship with companies or associations, as there will be brokers in between, this is also compulsory.
The question is: What is the ruling on working for these brokers? Its role is basically introducing offers to companies and individuals and dealing with claims.
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly: Health insurance is haraam like other types of commercial insurance, because it is based on ambiguity, gambling and riba (usury). This is what is stated in fatwas by the senior scholars. See the answer to question no. 39474 and 4210.
In Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (15/277) there is a quotation of a statement of the Council of Senior Scholars concerning the prohibition on insurance and why it is haraam:
1. Commercial insurance contracts are transactions based on probability and extreme ambiguity, because the customer cannot know at the time of signing the contract what he will give or take. He may pay one or two instalments, then calamity may strike and he will be entitled to what the insurer committed to pay. Or no calamity may happen at all, so he pays all the instalments and takes nothing. Similarly the insurer cannot know what he will give or what he will take with regard to any individual contract. In the saheeh hadeeth it says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade ambiguous transactions.

The defeat of ObamaCare may well happen in the Supreme Court although, as Yogi Berra famously said, “It ain’t over ’til it’s over.” I’m no lawyer but I believe there is clearly a basis here for a further religious discrimination case filed by Christians and Jews who would be forced to buy these policies while Muslims could walk away from it.
Exemption for muslims, but not Catholics. Disgusting.
Well. Talk to the Pope, ask him to talk to the Big Guy and make “gambling on insurance” against your religion. That’s what Amish and Muslins have that Catholics don’t. Easy fix. Oh — and stop paying social security, as well. That should should make Catholics exempt.

Wow. So as long as something is “implied” in your fear-mongering views, you can post it as “truth”. The chain emails going around state the word “Dhimmittude” is in the health care bill. Most of the uneducated sheep our there blindly believe it and pass the lie on to their friends who have partaken in the Republican fear KoolAid. When these conspiracy believers learn the word actually isn’t there then they say “yeah, but its implied”. Whatever happened to truth? As long as lies fit your agenda its OK to lie? That’s not what my version of Christianity teaches. Hypocrites.

Oh. I’m sorry! Did somebody else happen to use the very same tactic the left uses all the time? Fear mongering? Posting opinion as truth? Inferring intent? I’m shocked! Of course, its all the conservatives fault! They are the only ones who do this right? Republican Fear cool aid?
How about threatening the older generation with losing their social security or medicare benefits? What about threatening those who rely on welfare that they will lose it if a ‘Tea Bagger’ ends up in the white house? These aren’t blatant lies, or half truths, or inferred intent? They are not fear mongering? Give me a break! It always seems perfectly OK for a leftist to take something out of context, or tell only part of the story, or infer ‘intent’, and pass it out as fact, but the very second somebody who they don’t agree with does it, the fingers start to wag and point, and the screaming ensues!
I have never seen anybody lie as much as politicians ON BOTH SIDES of the aisle who think its ok because the lies happen to fit their agenda!

Romney has already done a trial with Romneycare, so to speak, so knows what has and hasn’t worked out and Pam Bondi who took and argued the repeal to the Surpreme Court are part of Romney’s team and Romney and Ryan know business, money and how to get things done between them unlike our present President and veep. And Romney will do like Reagan did and surround himself with experts in all fields… Time for change with a $16,000,000,000,000.00 national debt.

Notice that the oath first describes one’s duties to the CONSTITUTION . This takes precedence over the orders of the president and superior officers. Exactly why it was written this way.

Okay so I ask you, who voted this man in office not once but twice, I’m sure it was not the Muslims of our great country, there would never be enough of them to get anyone elected! look in the mirror folks, before you criticize what you created. And now live with it! and shup about it.
A large enough of the ‘people’ voted him in, but…, not enough of ‘we the people’ did NOT vote for him, so, we have to get enough of the people to vote out the Electoral College and let the population mass vote for Pres.., but with voter ID for all. No ID, no vote.

Where is the proof that this sick part was took out Obamacare, Dhimmitude , Jesus only raised is hand in anger once when he threw the money changers from the temple, so usury is against all of GOD’s Laws, not just Muslims, so people the banksters are evil & it took a small group in congress to pass the federal reserve act in 1913 & the charter is up in Dec 2013, we need to demand no renewal period & to seize all their assets & jail them where ever they are!
There is no proof and you can bet that the intention is still there. The ObamaCare bill has swelled to the point that nobody knows what is in it. It started out to be about 1,900 pages with I and a group of my online friends all read. It was passed at around 2,500 pages, which almost none of the people in the House or the Congress read before it was forced on us. And it with all the additions, regulations and implementations it now stands about 7-ft high… closer to somewhere between 10,000 and 12,500 pages and it keeps growing.
Little by little we are finding out that everything that was supposedly not in the bill or taken out is still in the bill another form and most of the supposed good stuff was misrepresented… from death panels, to higher costs, to the ultimate goal (admitted by Harry Reid) of a single-payer (socialized) system.
I will not participate in paying taxes if people are allowed into this country that are exempt from the laws of the land!!!!
They will never get anything out of me, I’m already as broke as one can get. So I’ll be damned if they ever get what I pay for!!! Send the Mouching Slimes back to the sand lands!!!!
